Host Families Needed! NOTE: Host families needed now for January 2009 arrivals and also, the 2009/2010 School Year The ISE volunteer host families provide room and board, love and support to the students. The students bring spending money for school expenses, extra-cirricular activities, etc. In addition, students come with a health insurance policy so there is no expense for the host family for doctor, pharmacy or hospital bills. Our students arrive expecting to learn about the American way of life and anxious to teach you about their own culture. It's the experience of a lifetime! Who makes a good host family? Families with high school age children Families with middle school age children Families with younger children Families with no children (yet) Empty Nesters Single Parents Home School Families (your student would go to the local public school (or in some cases private school).
